Hey there I’m Andy, thanks for stopping by!
It’s important you like most of the people at your wedding so here's a little more about me!
I’m a pretty chilled out guy but I’m passionate about my work and always professional. I like to think I can get along with anyone and meeting people from all walks of life is one of the reasons I love to shoot weddings! I love a good belly laugh and I’m really into music (grunge, metal, psychedelic rock, blues, hip hop, electronica etc). Aside from my family, 2 Whippets Iggy Pop and Ozzy Osbourne my other loves include old motorcycles, bikes, surfing, snowboarding, beans on toast and proper coffee (coffee snob).
My sister gave me my first film SLR camera aged 14, a Zenit EM. I took lots of photos and processed my own film. I studied photography at college and learned the art of the darkroom. I also have a product design degree and in my past life have designed products ranging from hi-fi’s, watches and cutlery through to private London interiors. I switched solely to photography about 14 years ago to follow my passion but still view the world with a designers eye.
My Style
My photographic style combines natural documentary coupled with cinematic portraiture. I like my pictures to have a story and film and music are the biggest influences on my work.
From the start over 14 years ago I took an alternative approach to photographing weddings. Weddings for me are all about the people, I love to capture personality, character and fun! I like bold colour, atmospheric images and big landscapes. My work often has a cheeky bit of humour and I like to work in the Ninja style (silent and stealthy) to capture people naturally. My aim is to create images with soul and to tell your story through a creative set of pictures.
