Claire+Kayleigh’s big day was at the wonderful Swan Hotel And Spa at the foot of Lake Windermere in the Lake District. This is a special place for me as I spent much of my childhood messing about on boats with my family on the lake. Our boat ‘Barefoot Days’ was moored at the hotel marina so I always love coming back to photograph weddings here. The hotel is a boutique style and is well known locally for the excellent food in either of the restaurants. Set amongst the South Lakeland fells and the river Leven it’s a pretty stunning location and amazing place to host your wedding day and has to be one of the best Lake District wedding venues.
Even though is always amazing in the Lake District for weddings regardless of the weather, Claire and Kayleigh were blessed with a beautiful sunny day - a rarity in the Lakeland fells! Check out the full story below!
